There’s too much blood and they both know it. This is it. No more redos, no more reset buttons. Dean looks over at where Sam’s sprawled on the ground three feet away. He can barely breathe, ribs skewering his insides, and all he can taste is blood and bile. But he can still see Sammy. Even if Sam can’t see him.

His baby brother’s hazel eyes are slowing but surely glazing over. 

Dean feels it coming, the dark, it’s eating away at the corners of his eyes and his mind.  He searches for something to say, anything, everything in this last moment, but all he manages to cough out is one, final, single word. 

“Bitch.”

Sam laughs and it’s wet, hacking, his last breath. 

“Jerk,” he replies and they both know, sure as anything, that what they’re really saying is “I love you” and “See you soon.”

What always gets me about this scene, is that Thor seems to be talking about nice things: missing Loki, the bond they share, having Loki be part of the family again……but Loki jumps right to the price Thor’s asking:

….implying that Thor is not asking Loki to come back because he loves Loki (either in a brotherly or a not-so-bortherly fashion), but that Thor is asking because (again) there’s something he wants from Loki.

And you can practically see Loki’s heart break all over again, when he smiles that overly bright, self-depreciating smile.

Because what is love worth, if you have to pay for it?

Look at the sadness in the Master’s eyes. You tell me he doesn’t love the Timelords and the Doctor in general. I dare you! That is a look of familiarity, and somewhat pride, he has when the Doctor continues to defy his entire race. That smile with those sad, sad eyes of his. He loves this, he loves the Doctor and he loves the games they’ve played. There is so much love in the Master and he can’t even fucking see it most of the time but this is the Doctor, and his life long friend, and if anything he can count on him being the same, no matter the regeneration he is on. Heck even here the Doctor can’t see that because he is so angry, the race he felt guilty for killing once he has to condemn again and he hasn’t got time to see the good because he has to do what is right AND THE MASTER UNDERSTANDS THAT, YOU BETTER KNOW IT. Fuck they could have had so much together and I hate the Timelords for corrupting that from the start because the Master could have been so lovely, travelling throughout time and space like they used to in their fathers’ fields back on Gallifrey when they were kids.

Kill me now? Please? All these Master/Doctor feels are killing me.
